There is a long-standing correlation between
Oil maintains a strong Canadian dollar equivalent and vice versa
In recent weeks, a situation correlation broke up, I believe it will not last long so I would perform such an alternate strategy:
Sell oil and buy dollars against Canadian oil or buying oil and selling dollars against Canadian
